How it works
- You apply and confirm your email with a code from our message.
- We read applications by hand and open access in small groups.
- When your turn comes, we write to your email. Until then the stories stay closed.
What we ask
Three simple promises from your side.
Notice the rough edges
An unclear sentence, an odd reply from the story, a button where you did not expect it. Small things matter more than they seem.
Tell us
Reply to your invitation email: what you liked, what got in the way, where you got stuck. A few lines are enough.
What is not ready yet
- Payments and subscriptions: everything is free during the beta, plans are shown for reference only.
- The report button on the web story page is coming later; for now, reply to your invitation.
- Public launch, app stores and newsletters come after the beta.
Closed beta terms
Version beta-terms-v1. Short and to the point:
- The product is unfinished: texts, story replies and the interface may change and make mistakes.
- Participation is free. We take no payment and start no subscriptions during the beta.
- We may reset or delete test data after at least 7 days’ notice by email, with a chance to download a copy.
- We may close access or end the beta at any time; your account is kept.
- Participants must be at least 14 years old. Feedback you send may be used to improve the product without naming you.
Questions
Can I invite a friend?
Ask them to apply the same way you did. If you would like us to look at it sooner, reply to your access email.
What happens to my stories after the beta?
Your account, runs and drafts stay. If anything has to be reset, we will warn you in advance and let you download a copy.
Do I have to send feedback?
No, but feedback is the whole reason for the beta. Even a single “I got stuck here” helps more than quiet use.
Your data during the beta
We keep your email, public name, application text, the date and version of the terms you accepted, your runs and drafts: everything needed to review the application and bring you back to the same place. Readers do not see unpublished texts; the beta team may review them for moderation. Please do not send passwords or other people’s personal data in emails. You can delete your account at any time in the settings.
